Anti-Harassment Policy

Section 1. Scope of policy

1.1. This Anti-Harassment Policy applies to all Attendees at “CFC Big Ideas” events, including participants, guests, staff, contractors, speakers and others. All Attendees are expected to comply with this Anti-Harassment Policy at all event at the Online Forum and event-related social events.

1.2. We expect all our staff and representatives to strive for the highest standards of integrity and accountability and to conduct themselves in line with this Anti-Harassment Policy.

Section 2. Statement of policy

2.1. CFC Big Ideas does not tolerate harassment of Attendees in any form.

2.2. Use of sexual or discriminatory language and imagery is not appropriate for any CFC Big Ideas event.

Section 3. Forbidden acts

3.1. We expect all participants to conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner, including, but not limited to:

3.1.1. Making verbal or written comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age and/religion;

3.1.2. Stalking or persistent following;

3.1.3. Creating harassing photography or recording;

3.1.4. Creating or sharing harmful, obscene or indecent content;

3.1.5. Instigating inappropriate contact or unwelcome attention.

3.1.6. Sexual harassment;

3.1.7. Using an unwelcome display of sexually suggestive objects or pictures;

3.1.8. Using offensive, sexually explicit jokes;

3.1.9. Cyberbulling.

Section 4. Reporting an incident

4.1. Any participants, guests, staff, contractors who believes that they have been subjected to discrimination, harassment (including sexual/gender harassment), retaliation or sexual assault prohibited by this Anti-Harassment Policy should immediately report the circumstances in accordance with the procedure set forth below.

4.2. Complaints may be submitted to CFC Big Ideas by any of the following methods:

4.3. CFC Big Ideas review both first-person and bystander reports of violations of this policy.

4.4. Violators of this Anti-Harassment Policy may be sanctioned or expelled from any event of the Online Forum with no refund at the discretion of the CFC Big Ideas. Attendies asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. We may take action against a particular contribution or on an account basis by removing a particular post or message or by temporarily or permanently suspending access to a user. This Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Use published on our Website.
